LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP TO BE HOSTED BY SUG, UNN.

Image
A big congratulations to the Students' Union Government of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka for coming up with a beautiful plan to hold a general workshop for the nation's great leaders in the Den. I imagine what it would be like on Tuesday, 19th June, 2018 as the entire students of the University come out en masse to participate in the series of classes aimed at skill development and individual empowerment.  "Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them." ~Ann Landers. Don't you think there should be more of this kind of leadership workshop to empower the youths with skills and knowledge for tomorrow? Should they depend on the jobs their parents and relations promise to provide them with after graduation from school? Do you prefer office work (working under someone else) to proprietorship?

HOMECOMING

Today 8th June 2017, the department of English and Literary Studies will be having it's first homecoming. Really it's one we have all been looking forward to. Dignitaries from several parts of the world will grace the occasion. It will be a two-day programme and so tomorrow, the departmental festival usually known as "Literary Arts Festival" shall be held tomorrow 9th June.
